Emondt Too Tough, Blanks Memphis Monday, July 20th , 2048 Victor Emondt subdued the Memphis Music, 5-0, pitching a 3-hit gem for the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish at The Stage in Memphis. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Plattsburgh skipper Wallace James said afterward. Emondt registered 5 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in his superb performance. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Memphis manager Dave Everett after the defeat. On the season Emondt has 4 wins and 4 losses and a 5.06 ERA.
