Wednesday, September 23rd , 2048
He may have less experience than most of his USPL Low A peers, but that didn't slow Claudio Ynegas down at all in 2048.
At the age of 19, the Athletic Club KC center fielder has been named the winner of the USPL Low A Most Valuable Player Award.
He had a .379 batting average and a .425 on-base percentage this year. In 84 games he piled up 135 hits, 15 doubles, 5 triples, 33 home runs, 82 RBIs and 88 runs scored.
"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."
He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Armando Pineda of the Redwood Rhinos finished second in voting, while Armando Alonso of the Hudsonville Flanderses finished third.
