Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Esser
Sunday, September 20th , 2048
Silvian Esser said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 20 years old.

But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Quebec City Baby Blues rising star has won the USPL Low A Reliever of the Year Award for 2048.

He captured the award on the strength of his 0.89 ERA over 40.1 innings. He also had 5 saves in 29 relief appearances, 69 strikeouts and only 10 walks.

He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Doug Owen of the Ogallala Octopi finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Lúcio Colón of the Athletic Club KC U-21 finished third.
