Rams Putilov Out Rest Of Season Wednesday, June 3rd , 2048 Ladue starting pitcher Kolya Putilov could miss the remainder of the season because of a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. He exited yesterday's Redwood game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Putilov would be out 13 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." This season Putilov has fanned 25 in 33.2 innings and collected a 3-2 record with a 5.88 ERA. |
