Fernández Picks Up Best PAA Batter Honors for September Thursday, October 1st , 2048 Ernesto Fernández is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Nuevo Mexico first baseman joined that select company when the USPL Double A announced the results of September's voting. Fernández totaled 13 hits, 10 walks, 5 home runs, 9 RBIs and 12 runs scored last month to put together a .351 batting average and .500 on-base percentage. Fernández has a lifetime average of .272, has played in 273 games, and has collected 72 home runs and 188 RBIs. |
