August's Best Batter Announced Tuesday, September 1st , 2048 Beach balls were coming in at Víctor Pagueros in August and he banged, bashed and blasted them all over the park, putting up a .295 batting average and hauling in the USPL Double A Batter of the Month trophy. The 26-year-old Minnesota third baseman collected 23 hits last month in 21 games. He put up 7 home runs, 19 RBIs and 15 runs scored. Pagueros also drew 12 walks and compiled a .389 on-base percentage. Pagueros is hitting .272 for the season with 20 home runs, 60 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He has 82 hits in 302 at-bats and played in 81 games. |
