Roberto Vázquez Lost for Season Friday, July 10th , 2048 Roberto Vázquez of the Turbeaus just might have to call it quits for the season. The 23-year-old Gulf Coast reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Northville Eclipse recently at Mobile Home Park. Vázquez suffered a torn back muscle while throwing a pitch. The Turbeaus medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 5 months. To this point in the season, Vázquez has put up these figures: 0-1 record, 15 relief appearances with 19.1 innings, no saves, 15 strikeouts, 19 walks and a 6.52 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .222 batting average. |
