August's Premier Pitcher Announced by SAA Tuesday, September 1st , 2048 When Mang Zhong strolls in from the bullpen, he is a good bet to nail down the victory for the Ithaca Fighting Imps. That's the way it was last month as he performed his job in an almost flawless fashion. Today he was honored as August's Pitcher of the Month by the USSL Double A. The Ithaca pitcher compiled a 3-1 record, no saves, 42 strikeouts and a 0.57 ERA in 31.2 innings over no relief appearances. Zhong has made no relief appearances this year and notched no saves. To date in 105 innings he has a 8-5 record, 3.17 ERA with 134 strikeouts and 67 walks. |
