Xin-fang Zha Injured, Out for Year Tuesday, August 18th , 2048 The season is finished for Xin-fang Zha of the Ithaca Fighting Imps. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Fighting Imps reliever suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Billings Polar Bears. Team doctors said it would take at least 12-13 months to heal. This season Xin-fang Zha has made 32 relief appearances, saving 15. His record is 6-3 with 31 strikeouts in 40 innings and a 3.15 ERA. |
