Young, Fighting Imps Shut Out Pilgrims, 7-0 Friday, August 7th , 2048 Jimmy Young kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Ithaca Fighting Imps were all smiles after winning 7-0 against the Providence Pilgrims at Imps Park today. The right-handed Young gave up no runs in his start, permitted 1 hit and had 5 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Young said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
