Kaukini Wins SAA Player of the Week Honors Monday, July 20th , 2048 One of the league's most exciting young players, Tao Kaukini of the Squirrel Hill Pierogis earned himself USSL Double A Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 22-year-old second baseman had a lofty .542 average (13-for-24), collecting 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This season Kaukini has delivered 58 hits in 226 at-bats for a .257 average with 11 home runs. He is getting on base at a .325 clip and his totals also include 36 RBIs and 29 runs scored. This year Kaukini has played in 61 games. |
