Great Week for St. Petersburg's Won-shik Yi Monday, August 31st , 2048 St. Petersburg Thunder right fielder Won-shik Yi had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the M3L Double A named him Player of the Week. Yi banged out 8 hits in 16 at-bats on the way to a .500 batting average. He also racked up 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. For the year Yi is batting .272 with 26 home runs. |
