Port Huron Loses Wilson for Year Wednesday, September 2nd , 2048 The season is ending on a bad note for Jimmy Wilson, starting pitcher for the Port Huron Blitzkrieg. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Wilson was hurt against the Hartford Pride while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn rotator cuff and will be out for at least 11 months. So far this year Wilson has made 17 starts, tossed 90.1 innings, struck out 69 batters and walked 48. His record is 5-6 with a 5.78 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .276 batting average. |
