SAAA Names Best Player Monday, August 24th , 2048 At the age of 28, Elijah Scott might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Austin first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .348 batting average. For his efforts Scott collected the USSL Triple A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 8 hits in 23 at-bats, 5 home runs and 10 RBIs last week in 6 games. Presently Scott is batting .258 and has collected 16 home runs, 33 RBIs, .352 OBP and scored 35 runs. |
