Sonny Day Named PAAA's Best Player

Sonny Day took USPL Triple A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 25.
For his spectacular campaign, the Calgary Lynx star has been named the 2048 USPL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the center fielder.
On the season he compiled a .263 batting average to go with a .317 on-base percentage. The native of Wolf Point, Montana also added 26 doubles, 8 triples, 25 home runs, 73 RBIs and 56 runs scored.
He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 10. Edmund Davis of the Jersey City Tritons finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Ben Lindsay of the Kansas Rainbeaus finished third.
