Alaskan-Sacramento Fight Results in Suspensions Saturday, September 5th , 2048 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Alaskan-Sacramento contest at Sea World. The Humpbacks Remco Mastenbroek and the Redlegs Ed Emery will have to sit out 2 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season Mastenbroek has 17 home runs and a .252 batting average. This season Emery has a 10-1 mark in 19 starts with a 3.26 ERA. He has given up 88 hits in 107.2 innings, struck out 96 and issued 41 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .226 batting average against him. |
