Sébastien Guillaume Nabs Best Player Trophy
Tuesday, October 8th , 2047
At the age of 24, Sébastien Guillaume of the Plymouth Rocks could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2047 was good enough to win the first baseman the USPL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .289 batting average this year, as well as a .379 on-base percentage. He played 72 games and racked up 79 hits, 16 doubles, no triples, 33 home runs, 76 RBIs and 66 runs scored.
He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. Gerald Riley of the Salt Lake City Buzz finished second in voting, while Harry Cornelis of the Hartford Pride finished third.
