Season May Be Over for Reserves Porter Monday, August 17th , 2048 A blow for Martin Porter today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4-5 months with a torn meniscus. Porter suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Athletic Club KC Reserves are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Porter's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. In 17 starts this year Porter has recorded a 5-4 record and a 4.07 ERA. |
