Browning Caps Great Week Monday, August 3rd , 2048 A battle-tested Blake Browning declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 33-year-old Salt Lake City right fielder collected the USPL Triple A Player of the Week Award. He wrapped up the week with a .611 average, 11 hits in 18 at-bats, no home runs, 2 RBIs and 5 runs scored. For the year Browning is batting .332 with 61 hits and no home runs. He has scored 21 times and driven in 12. |
