Sunset District Captures Menard's AAA Crown Monday, September 14th , 2048 Let loose, Sunset District fans, your team has won the Menard's AAA. The Sunset District Fog have officially captured the crown, the 3rd in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said starting pitcher Jorge Gonzáles. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 63-34 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 5th M3L Triple A championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said manager Tom Oglander. "This is what you play for." |
