Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Sunday, August 30th , 2048 Turner Barnes of the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes and Tom Thornton of the Pawnee ParksNRec received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Crane Field. This season Barnes is batting .304 with 17 hits, 1 home run, 9 RBIs, .452 OBP and has scored 10 runs. Thornton has made 15 starts this season, posting 5 wins and 2 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .276 against him and he has 80 strikeouts in 77.2 innings with a 5.68 ERA. |
