Nicholson Cracks 5 Hits Sunday, August 23rd , 2048 It was a sensational day at the plate for Cam Nicholson as he led the charge to a 9-0 win over the Dogfish Head. The Baton Rouge right fielder was pure misery for the Milton pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Nicholson put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Kevin Tyler, manager for the Dogfish Head, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Cam Nicholson tripled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Anthony Carney in the 4th, tripled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Pabiyan Ajiganoff in the 8th.
