Cleveland's Han Takes Best Pitcher Prize
Tuesday, November 3rd , 2048
It was a glorious year for Janghyun Han of the Cleveland Browns.
He finished the season with 15 victories and only 5 losses, with an impressive 2.53 ERA. The talented Browns pitcher started 24 games and struck out 234 batters in 163.2 innings and won the United States Silver League Outstanding Pitcher Award.
"It means a lot," Han said. "I hadn't really had a chance to sit down and think about it yet. It feels good right now. I can't really put it into words, but I'm sure later on tonight when I have a chance to sit down with my family and think about it, I'll have some words for it. But right now, I'm just happy that it happened this year."
Paul Haines of the Baltimore Bullets finished second in voting, while Gregory Collins of the Colorado Billy Goats finished third.
