SL's Premier Player: Napolez of Long Island Tuesday, November 3rd , 2048 The future looks extremely bright for Jorge Napolez. At the age of 26, many players are still trying to find their way in United States Silver League. Napolez has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the United States Silver League Outstanding Hitter Award. "I didn't expect to hit .352 this year, that's for sure," the left fielder said. The Long Island Lighthouse star also put up a .420 on-base percentage this year, with 148 hits, 24 doubles, 13 triples, 9 home runs, 49 RBIs and 84 runs scored. Dong-young Won of the Seattle Rocketeers finished second in voting, while Juan Pérez of the Baltimore Bullets finished third. |
