Bullets Lucas Suffers Setback Tuesday, October 27th , 2048 Just when it looked like Ron Lucas would soon return to the Baltimore Bullets, the reliever suffered yet another setback in his recovery from shoulder inflammation. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when Lucas experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be out of action for at least 3-4 weeks. Since making his league debut Lucas has made 112 appearances and nailed down 14 saves with 188 Ks in 190.2 innings. In his career he has a record of 13 wins and 8 losses and a 2.93 ERA. |
