Baltimore's Pérez Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Monday, September 21st , 2048 No matter what the Montana Pandas threw at him today, Juan Pérez hit it. He easily handled Pandas pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Bullets to a 5-0 triumph at Panda Park. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Pérez's quip, Pandas skipper Andrew Schupick said he "would take him up on that next time." Juan Pérez doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
