SL's Best Player Named Monday, September 7th , 2048 Pittsburgh Kingfishers catcher Ignacio Páez had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the United States Silver League named him Player of the Week. Páez banged out 12 hits in 24 at-bats on the way to a .500 batting average. He also racked up 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far this year Páez has 11 home runs and a .268 batting average. |
