August's Premier Rookie Named by SL Tuesday, September 1st , 2048 Youngster Kyung-chul Son emerged as the latest United States Silver League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Pittsburgh deserved the honor, batting .359 with 4 home runs and 16 runs batted in. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Son enjoy the limelight. Thus far this year Son is batting .294 with 9 home runs, 45 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
