Napolez's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Monday, August 3rd , 2048 Jorge Napolez of the Long Island Lighthouse has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 1 hit in today's 7-3 triumph over Detroit at The Lighthouse. "20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Napolez said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Jorge Napolez walked in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and flied out in the 6th. This year Napolez has socked 99 hits in 284 at-bats for a .349 average with 8 home runs. He is getting on base at a .411 pace and his totals also include 36 RBIs and 58 runs scored. |
