Panther Blasts 3 out of the Park Wednesday, May 6th , 2048 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Edward Panther discovered that today at Idaho Falls Park, as he smashed three home runs during the 12-2 Eugene Vandals win over the Idaho Falls Chukars. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Eugene catcher said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Panther finished the day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats and 5 RBIs. Edward Panther hit a two-run home run off Marcos Vigil in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off José Cantú in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Ernesto Cabruja in the 9th. This season Panther has 3 home runs and a .400 batting average. |
