PA's Best Starter is McCall Tuesday, September 1st , 2048 When Marvin McCall takes the hill, he usually takes command of the game -- at least that's the way it was in August. The outcome was usually a Caldwell victory. His fine 3-1 performance earned him the USPL Single A Pitcher of the Month trophy. The talented Chiefs hurler made 5 starts, worked 40.1 innings, permitted 17 base hits, and struck out 40 while putting up a 2.01 ERA. Thus far this season, McCall has tossed 142 innings in 20 starts, fanned 143 batters, walked 55 and put up a 2.92 ERA with 10 wins and 5 losses. |
