USPL Single A Announces August's Best Batter Tuesday, September 1st , 2048 Laredo Hawks fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in August. Calvin Chappell put up a remarkable month at the age of 24 and has been named the USPL Single A Batter of the Month. For the month, Chappell hit .354 with 10 home runs, 27 RBIs and 17 runs scored. For the year Chappell is batting .252 with 51 hits and 19 home runs. He has scored 39 times and driven in 56. |
