Chappell Sticks It to PA Pitchers Monday, August 31st , 2048 Calvin Chappell is respected by most Laredo Hawks fans for his no-frills style of play. The 24-year-old third baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USPL Single A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .500 average (6-for-12) with 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and 4 runs scored. In 56 games this season Chappell has compiled a .253 batting average with 50 hits and 18 home runs. He has also scored 38 times and knocked in 55 runs. |
