Díaz and Figueroa Suspended for Free-for-All Wednesday, June 24th , 2048 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Delmarva-Kennesaw contest at The Cage. The Gallos Tony Díaz and the Jets Julián Figueroa will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season Díaz has hit at a .212 clip with 12 RBIs, 5 home runs and 8 runs scored. To date this season Figueroa sports a 1-3 mark with a 3.44 ERA in 9 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .221 batting average and has 23 strikeouts in 36.2 innings. |
