3A Outstanding Pitcher Award Goes to Curtis Friday, September 25th , 2048 Jon Curtis of the Syracuse Storm outdid his pitching peers this year and has been honored with the 2048 M3L Single A Outstanding Pitcher Award. During his remarkable year Curtis posted a 10-4 record in 19 starts. In 130.2 innings he yielded 86 hits and 26 walks while striking out 172 and compiling a fine 2.34 ERA. He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 12. Omar Fabila of the Belleville Bulls finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Alfonso RodrÃguez of the Columbia River Rats finished third.
