Pitcher of the Month Named in 3A Wednesday, July 1st , 2048 Tough in the clutch -- that's a bullpen specialist. And one of the best in the league is MartÃn Rivera of the Columbia River Rats. Rivera was outstanding in June and was named the Pitcher of the Month in the M3L Single A. Columbia's star reliever held the opposition to a .167 average and put up no saves and 26 strikeouts in 27 innings with a 4-0 mark and a 0.67 ERA. So far this season, Rivera has compiled a 7-0 won-lost mark with no saves and a 1.23 ERA. In 58.2 innings he has fanned 59 and opponents are hitting him at a .165 clip. |
