Blanchard Selected Top Performer in 3A Monday, June 29th , 2048 So far in his young career, Bernard Blanchard has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Single A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 19-year-old Alameda Airmen center fielder hit at a torrid .381 clip as he collected 8 hits in 21 at-bats, 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. In 2048 Blanchard has hit at a .265 clip with 49 hits, 6 home runs, 19 RBIs and has scored 30 times. |
