Fukuda Scores PL Best Hurler Honors Tuesday, November 3rd , 2048 The Hollywood Shredders have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's Teika Fukuda, this year's United States Premier League Gold Ball selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Fukuda compiled a 10-4 record in 23 starts, tallied 118 strikeouts in 155.2 innings and recorded a 3.47 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .212 batting average against him. Terry Lesage of the Vancouver Grey Wolves finished second in voting, while Tom Johnston of the Athletic Club KC finished third. |
