Great Week for Greenville's Dan Wells Monday, September 21st , 2048 26-year-old Dan Wells sent shock waves through United States Premier League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the United States Premier League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Wells made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .542 average, 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 5 home runs and 7 runs batted in. Where the Greenville 84s third baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Wells certainly made his mark last week. This year Wells has 11 home runs and a .357 batting average. |
