Coeur, Shredders Agree to Deal Tuesday, August 4th , 2048 The Baseball News Network is reporting that St. Louis and Hollywood have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 28-year old RHP Eric Blevins and 34-year old RHP Branlyn Jaraba to the Shredders with 17-year old minor league RF Francisco Rodríguez, 17-year old minor league RHP José Durán, 17-year old minor league RHP Martín Hernández, and $3 in cash joining the Coeur. St. Louis general manager Scott McMahon would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. Blevins's record this year is 2-and-3 with 3 saves and a 3.29 ERA. He has given up 38 hits in 63 innings with 104 strikeouts. |
