84s Listless in 6-0 Loss to Mockingbirds Sunday, August 2nd , 2048 It wasn't easy but the Mississippi Mockingbirds made it look that way. Starter Alfredo Rincón shut out the Greenville 84s despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Mississippi Mockingbirds cruised to victory, 6-0. Rincón allowed only 4 hits and rang up 9 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up."
