The Detroit Elite went down to defeat to Billy Ramsey and his Cleveland teammates. The final score was 9-2 in favor of the Browns. Forest Bell was credited with the save for Cleveland, his 1st of the season. The Browns now have a record of 41-38 with the win over Detroit.

Octávio Obezo had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for Cleveland. He came through with a 2-run single to put Cleveland in front, 5-2.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Cleveland manager Greg Diersing.
