The Hollywood Shredders got a strong 6 innings from left-hander Ratko Peric today but failed to take Game 1 of the ToC Semi-Finals from the Buffalo White Walkers. Peric held the White Walkers to 1 run on 6 strong innings but Buffalo took the game by a score of 2-1 and now lead the best-of-5 series, 1-0.

Zhong-yi Yun, the slugging first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Yun contributed a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put Buffalo up, 1-0.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Yun.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Hollywood Bowl in West Hollywood.
