Today the Lynx fans broke out the brooms at Sacramento Sanitation Station and it worked -- Calgary swept the Sacramento Redlegs 2-0 and are the 2048 USPL Triple A PL AAA Championship champions for the 8th time in their history.

The Lynx derailed Sacramento 5-2 to wrap up the title.

Calgary finished the season with a record of 60-42 and ranked second in the Premier AAA.
