Loss to Voodoo Extends MSL Kingston Township Losing Streak
|
The MSL New Orleans Voodoo defeated the MSL Kingston Township Knights, 7-2, in M3L Mexican Summer League action at MSL New Orleans Ballpark. MSL New Orleans pitcher Ryuichi Hayashi had a standout performance. Paco Ortíz closed the game out for MSL New Orleans, earning his 1st save. This loss makes it 8 in a row for MSL Kingston Township.
Carlos Cordero hit a 2-run triple off Octávio Garza in the bottom of the third, which put the Voodoo in front, 2-0. Cordero had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Hayashi.
