The Detroit Elite got a sterling performance from pitcher Joel Lewis, but the Pittsburgh Kingfishers still prevailed, 6-3. Lewis threw 7.1 innings of 6-hit ball. The victory puts Pittsburgh at 24-42.

Pittsburgh used a clutch hit from Max Sinclair to get the win. The left fielder drilled a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Kingfishers ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Sinclair. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
