Great Effort by Lighthouse 3B Espinar Not Enough in 4-3 Loss
The Montana Pandas weathered an outstanding game by Long Island third baseman Jaime Espinar to topple the Lighthouse, 4-3. Espinar went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Grant Gremel earned the save for Montana, his 3rd of the year. The Pandas raised their record to 26-38.

Raúl Miranda had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the seventh for Montana. He came through with a 2-run single to put Montana in front, 4-1.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Long Island skipper Michael Esposito, "and it cost us."
