Martínez Bashes 5 Base Hits
No matter what the MSL Cleveland Browns threw at him today, Juan Martínez hit it. He easily handled Browns pitching, going 5 for 7 and helping the Kingfishers to a 18-6 triumph at MSL Cleveland Ballpark.

"The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of Martínez's quip, Browns skipper Craig Sunter said he "would take him up on that next time."

Juan Martínez flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

For the season Martínez has hit .450 with 3 home runs and 47 RBIs. He has played in 43 games and scored 40 times.
