Rocketeers Win at MSL Baltimore, 8-7
The MSL Seattle Rocketeers overcame a good performance by MSL Baltimore shortstop Enrique Cruz to knock off MSL Baltimore, 8-7, at MSL Baltimore Ballpark. Cruz was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Picking up the win was Roy Taylor. He went 6 innings, allowing 5 runs on 11 hits. The right--hander struck out 1 and walked 2. Juan Vera recorded the save for MSL Seattle, his 1st of the season.

Doing his part for MSL Seattle was pinch hitter José De Jesús, who stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth. For the game, De Jesús was 2 for 3 with a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said MSL Seattle manager Mike Preston.
