Rocketeers Trip White Walkers, 7-2, in Extra Innings
|
Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at MSL Buffalo Ballpark.
The MSL Buffalo White Walkers got a superb performance from pitcher Domingo Gonzáles. Still, it wasn't enough to beat MSL Seattle. The Rocketeers won the game, 7-2. Gonzáles threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. MSL Seattle has now won 8 straight.
MSL Seattle used the timely hitting of Pascal Laporte to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Rocketeers on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Laporte told the MSL Seattle Chronicle.
